EFFORTLESSLY & ARTISTIC IMAGERY THAT EVOKES EMOTION

the PHILOSOPHY / ME

AS A ROMANTIC PHOTOGRAPHER I LOVE CAPTURING ALL THE EMOTIONS THAT ARE EVOKE WHILE TWO SOULS CONNECT WITH EACH OTHER. THE REAL STORY, THE REAL MOMENTS, THE REAL YOU.

ABOUT YASELI

A woman sitting on a bench with a wood-paneled wall behind her, wearing wide-legged beige pants, a black top, a beige striped blazer, and a black wide-brimmed hat.

Observer, narrator, and photographer for the ones who celebrate love. My home is in Asheville, North Carolina, but I'm available to travel to wherever love takes me.

I was born and raised in Puerto Rico. There, I met the love of my life, Julio. Together, we form an exceptional team by building a home and creating lasting memories as a family of six. My loved ones are my motivation and the reason why I document life.

Six years ago, while studying architecture, I ventured into the world of photography, and it was a revelation. Although I hold both careers close to my heart, I consciously focused solely on photography. The reason behind this decision is quite simple…

I am a big fan of love.

Love, in its truest form, enriches our lives and gives us purpose. It is the essence that allows us to evolve as individuals and connect on a deeper level.

For me, documenting moments of love is important because life is fleeting, like a tapestry woven with irreplaceable memories. We change, move, and grow; as time passes, we often find comfort in those images that transport us back to a cherished past.

By becoming a mother, I have witnessed our little ones grow up at alarming speed. And it urges me to capture even the minutest of moments. Each click of the camera freezes time for a brief moment and allows me to revisit the fleeting years of my children growing.

This is my why. It is the reason why I do what I do.

Witnessing and documenting wedding love stories has become my life's pursuit. From the intimate embraces between lovers to the laughter-filled moments of families and friends, I am privileged to witness these genuine connections and translate them into a visual narrative.

My passion lies in capturing those unique and tender moments, forever preserving them as tangible keepsakes for generations to come. For you now and your you in the future. Let's embark on this incredible adventure together.

AS SEEN IN

  • Relaxed, attentive, and quietly guided.

As a documentary photographer, I won’t direct every second or turn your day into a production.

Instead, we will create space where you and your people can settle into themselves — and into each other.

There will be guidance when it matters, but it won’t feel forced or performative.

  • I don’t believe in over-directing or turning moments into something they’re not.

The best images happen when people feel comfortable enough to be themselves. So I create that space first—then I pay attention.

It’s a balance of knowing when to guide and when to step back.

    Less control, more awareness.
    Less perfection, more presence.

  • Anything related to love. My walk with God. My family. Nature. Life.

The deep connection my couples have after I meet them and listen to their stories.

    KIND WORDS

Yaseli was an absolute dream to work with. We had to plan our wedding from across the country which is very stressful. Yaseli made the time to Facetime me whenever about times/dates/style and all the above. She even traveled hours away to do a free engagement shoot with us! Climbing all over rocks and creeks. She made the photography portion of our wedding a total breeze. Her style is personal, intimate, and completely gorgeous. I highly recommend Yaseli to any bride; she made our wedding photos something we can cherish forever and ever.

    KIND WORDS

Yaseli and her husband Julio did such an amazing job, working together as a team during our engagement shoot to make us feel comfortable and helped us connect as a couple so that emotion shows through in our photos. On our wedding day, we couldn’t stop grinning long enough for Yaseli to take very many “serious” shots (LOL) but she was able to work around our nerves, excitement and giddiness to capture the day beautifully. She also did a fantastic job photographing the reception and we really love the photos of our friends and family dancing and having fun! She truly captured the love and excitement of the day.

    KIND WORDS

Yaseli is a literal angel! My husband and I met Yaseli in Asheville, NC, and had her do our engagement photos - which are undoubtedly some of my favorite photos of us to date. After my mother-in-law circulated our engagement photos for the thousandth time, and EVERYONE raved about how cute we looked, it only made sense to book Yaseli for our wedding, too. Yaseli skyped with me a handful of times to go over our vision for our photos, and what exactly we wanted. She even traveled all the way down to Tampa, Florida for the wedding. Yaseli and her husband were so much fun to work with, and their style of photography captured our wedding perfectly, just as it was, without cheesy wedding poses or awkwardly posed faces. Our final wedding photo album came beautifully packaged, and I'd be lying if I said I didn't cry when I opened it! We will absolutely be using Yaseli for any other photo needs we may have. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
