Intimate weddings during fall season here in Asheville are very dear to me, especially when they are during the morning. It can be a bit tiresome, but not really, not when you get to be back home for your little ones in the afternoon/evening.
S&S’s wedding was exceptionally special. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, they joyously commemorated their union. Their guests were treated to a succulent brunch, complemented by the melodic tunes of a live jazz band, creating an atmosphere that was simply unforgettable. The beautiful floral arrangements and elegant decorations added a touch of charm to the venue, amplifying the already palpable love and happiness that filled the air on that magical day.
I love every part of their wedding day, but what truly resonated with me were the heartfelt father-daughter and mother-son dances. Witnessing these moments filled with emotion and meaning touched my soul deeply. These dances have always been beautiful, but now, as a mother myself, they evoke a whole new level of sentiment within me. I can only imagine the profound joy of sharing these precious moments with my own children someday.
As always, it was a privilege of documenting their exciting new journey.

Every wedding evokes lots of different emotions. Each one unfolds
Every wedding evokes lots of emotions, each unfolding at its own pace, weaving a unique story. A&R's wedding embodied this sentiment, brimming with love and joy as they embarked on a new journey together. Surrounded by their nearest and dearest, the celebration was a testament to the love shared between them.
While the presence of cherished loved ones filled the venue, there were conspicuous absences as well. A's parents and R's father, though physically gone, were deeply present in spirit. Their memories were honored and revered, their photographs at the entrance serving as a heartfelt welcome to all who gathered to commemorate the couple's special day.
Grief, a mix of sadness and love, affected the celebration. Despite this, weddings bring together loved ones, uniting distant relatives and old friends who may only see each other at sad events. Weddings show a deep commitment between two people, celebrated by loved ones.
On a wedding day, love stands out, bringing warmth and joy to celebrate amidst the beautiful setting.

HIGHLANDS, NC ADVENTURE ELOPEMENT
If I can describe H & A elopement in three words, it would be EPIC, MAGICAL, AND AWESOME. This day was PERFECT! It was ridiculously beautiful as we saw the fall taking in the mountains.
When H & A told me about their elopement and how they wanted their intimate ceremony with just a couple of their sweet friends beside a waterfall, I was all in. I knew this day would be stunning, but to be honest, this elopement went beyond my expectations. My eyes were overwhelmed by how beautiful everything was. And as beauty, I mean how H & A are. Both are handsome from the inside out and as cheesy; as this may sound, they literally SPARK when they're together.
Before heading to the amazing Dry Falls in the Nantahala National Forest, we were at the Beasly Mine Lodge where H & A stayed with their eight closest friends. This place is terrific for any vacation getaway, but for an elopement, it was the perfect place to start a day. It provides a warm, cozy feeling and has the most fantastic mountain views. I cannot highly recommend this place enough for a getaway retreat!
I don't know who determines that to elope has to be you and your beloved one, but did you know that you can elope with your closest friends in an epic location? Yup, friends like family and up for an adventure with you two can join us for your epic elopement. It's always good to have a sprinkling of your nearest and dearest while witnessing your two saying 'I do to your new forever adventure together.
I honestly cannot wait to have more couples wanting to go on an adventure with me. We will have the BEST TIME EVER. I promise XOXO.

ASHEVILLE ADVENTURE ENGAGEMENT SESSION
Moving out from a place that you love can be pretty sad. To this, I can relate a lot.
As many of you know, I'm from Puerto Rico. I was born there, grew up there, and met the love of my life there. We moved due to Julio's work, and so I was willing to go anywhere with him since I can pretty much take my career as a photographer anywhere.
But, boy, it was so sad when we moved out. Not being able to physically see my parents or sisters meant a lot to me. However, it was good. It was a way for us to be more dependent on each other.
This is what I told C&N during their engagement session when they mentioned to me before that they are moving out from Asheville. Being unable to be close to your folks and anyone you grew up with creates a stronger bond and codependence between each other. It is hard, especially building new relationships around you in another place. But it's also fun to discover a new home together.
So as a memento for C&N, we went where the mountains are. This way, they can bring with them anywhere they go a memory from where they met.
RALEIGH TIMELESS ROMANTIC WEDDING AT THE BRADFORD
I REALLY LOVE WHEN MY COUPLES HAVE AN AMAZING TIME AT THEIR WEDDINGS AFTER SO MUCH TIME OF PLANNING AND EFFORT FOR EVERYTHING TO BE PERFECT. FOR BETH & AUSTIN THIS WAS NOT EXCEPTION, THEY FINALLY COULD HAVE THEIR SWEET ROMANTIC WEDDING AT THE BRADFORD AFTER RESCHEDULING DUE THE PANDEMIC. I WAS LITERALLY DYING TO BE THERE AFTER ALMOST TWO YEARS OF PLANNING.
B&A ARE TRULY SURROUNDED BY AMAZING PEOPLE. THEIR FAMILIES AND FRIENDS WERE CELEBRATING SO MUCH THAT MADE THAT DAY RADIATE WITH JOY AND LOVE. I FELT SO HONORED TO BE THERE FOR THEM!
THERE WAS SO MUCH FUN FROM THE BEGGING TO THE END. B&A GOT READY AT THE BRADFORD WITH THE AMAZING COMPANY OF THEIR WEDDING PARTIES. AFTER THEIR PORTRAITS, B&A HAD A SWEET INTIMATE MOMENT BY HAVING A FIRST TOUCH WHERE NONE OF THEM REVEAL AT EACH OTHER, BUT RATHER HAD THEIR HANDS TOUCHED BEFORE THEIR CEREMONY. I LOVED THIS SO MUCH!
THEIR CEREMONY TOOK PLACE WITH THE MOST MAGICAL GOLDEN LIGHT EVER. WITH THE SHADOWS OF THE TREES YOU COULD SEE THE LIGHT FILTERING SOFTLY FROM THE LEAVES. IT WAS PERFECT!
BY CHOOSING THE BRADFORD AS A WEDDING VENUE, YOU REALLY INVEST ON A PERFECT SCENERY FOR YOUR WEDDING. EVERY CONNER OF THIS VENUE IS STUNNING!
DANCING WAS THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE DAY. THERE’S NOTHING BETTER THAN HAVING A LIVE BAND! YOU WILL CERTAINLY HAVE EVERYBODY OUT FROM THE CHAIR DANCING ALL NIGHT. LITERALLY, E V E R Y O N E.

At the Garden of the Gods is where A & J's adventure elopement journey is headed next. This place is literally a Garden of the Gods. There are not so many greenery pathways, or flowers blooming, but rather a gorgeous red rocky landscape along the way.
It is definitely a must-visit in Colorado.

COLORADO BOHO ADVENTURE ELOPEMENT
TO SAY THAT I’M OBSESSED WITH THIS ELOPEMENT, IT’S AN UNDERSTATEMENT. THIS COUPLE MEANS A LOT TO ME SINCE I KNOW THEM FOR A LONG TIME. I WAS SO STOKED TO BE PART OF THEIR ELOPEMENT JOURNEY IN JEFFERSON, COLORADO.
A & J OPTED TO ELOPE FROM PUERTO RICO TO THE ROCKY MOUNTAINS SCENERY OF COLORADO. ALL OF US WERE AMAZED BY ALL THE BEAUTY THAT COLORADO PROVIDES. I MEAN, YOU CAN HAVE DIFFERENT SCENES IN ONE SINGLE STATE! FROM THE ROCKY MOUNTAINS TO THE DESERT DUNES AND SO ON. IT CAN CERTAINLY MAKE ANY COUPLE BE OVERWHELMED ON WHETHER WERE TO CHOOSE FOR THEIR ADVENTURE ELOPEMENT.
ANOTHER THING THAT MADE ADNILDA & JOEMAR MAKE THIS DECISION TO ELOPE IN THE STATES WAS THAT THEY COULD BRING THEIR SWEET PUPS TO ELOPE WITH THEM! DID YOU KNOW THAT YOUR FUR BESTIES CAN BE THE WITNESSES FOR YOUR ELOPEMENT/WEDDING CERTIFICATE!? I MEAN, THIS IS ONE OF THE REASONS WHY ANYBODY WOULD LOVE TO ELOPE OVER IN COLORADO.
IT WAS ALL AN ADVENTURE! SUCH THAT IT INSPIRED A & J -OWNERS OF THE DOG HOUSE PR, TO CREATE ANOTHER COMPANY -NAMED YES I DOG, WHICH HELPS AND GUIDES ANY COUPLE THAT WISHES TO HAVE THEIR FUR BESTIES AT THEIR ELOPEMENT OR WEDDING. I MEAN WHAT A POWER COUPLE!
THE FIRST ADVENTURE OF THIS POWER COUPLE HEADED FIRST AT THE VISTA DOME WHERE WE DID THE GETTING READY AND THE ELOPEMENT CEREMONY. THIS PLACE’S STUNNING AND LOCATED IN A VALLEY SURROUNDED BY ALL THE BEAUTIFUL MOUNTAINS OF COLORADO. THE NEXT DAY WE HEADED TOWARDS A MAGICAL PLACE CALLED THE GARDEN OF THE GODS, AND YES IT IS INDEED A GARDEN OF THE GODS.
I HOPE TO HAVE MORE ADVENTURES LIKE THIS ELOPEMENT IN COLORADO. I SERIOUSLY HAVE TO GO BACK TO EXPLORE MORE!

CANNON BEACH ADVENTURE COUPLE SESSION
On this day we meet two beautiful souls and made new friends. D & A were so excited to meet with us for photos at one of the most beautiful coasts on earth, the Oregon coast. These two are amazing duo and very talented photographers at SILVER MERIDIAN PHOTOGRAPHY. We had such a great time getting to know each other while photographing them, and them to us.
The Ecola State Park is a gorgeous forest that kind of makes you think that you're away from the coast when you're just right beside it. It is a magical forest with tall pines and a great view of the Oregon coast. From there you could see a lighthouse sitting on the horizon and the natural landmark of Cannon Beach.
There the light is usually not so bright because of the clouds, however, on this day it seems Julio and I brought warm light from the tropics haha! Even though I was expecting that blue-ish light, this day was simply perfect. I truly cannot wait to go back!
